While some features in a condo will be your personal choice, there are some features that all condos in the Las Vegas Strip should offer. These can include appliances, common areas, security, storage areas and parking.

Appliances

Every condo should have new or upgraded appliances that fit in with the décor, look nice and work well. Older condos will typically have standard appliances that are in good working order and still look very nice. In the Las Vegas Strip, you’ll likely have brand new appliances, such as dishwashers, refrigerators, microwaves and ranges, likely in the stainless steel décor look. Most units will also have a washer and dryer hookup though the washers and dryers don’t usually come with the unit and must be purchased and brought up by yourself.

Common Areas

Common areas are important for a condominium and will usually include fitness centers, saunas and pools. Some condos offer boat docks, gardens, and other fancy common areas, while others will choose gaming rooms and media centers as their focal point.

Parking

Even if you do not own a vehicle, it is still important to check that the condo you are considering in the Las Vegas Strip offers adequate parking. On-site parking is considered a must for most developments, and it is usually underneath the structure or adjacent to the building. You may be assigned a parking slot by number and may be able to receive extra parking slots for guests that are visiting you. There may also be a separate guest parking area, either in front of or adjacent to the building.

Storage

Condominiums may be the status symbol of those in high-power positions, but most people don’t think about storage facilities. Make sure your condo offers large closets for your clothing, linens and towels, along with enough cupboards and cabinets in the kitchen and living room so that you can store all of your items until they are needed. Extra storage space is usually provided for large items, such as sporting equipment, bicycles and other items you may have.

Security

Check that the condo offers sufficient security, such as a doorman or a keypad on the elevators. This will require any guests to check in with the doorman or lobby before going up to the units, ensuring your home and self are safe.
