Almost from the days when it was known as “Sin City”; most of us sort of feel that we are familiar with Las Vegas from countless movies and TV shows set there. Possibly, not so many of us are aware that the famous Las Vegas Strip is located outside of Vegas city limits. Some 4 miles of the Las Vegas Boulevard running through the towns of Paradise and Winchester is what is now known as the Las Vegas Strip.

Paradise

Although it uses the Vegas zip code; Paradise is a separate, unincorporated town in Clark County, Nevada. The main airport serving Vegas (McCarran International Airport) is located in Paradise; as is the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Paradise was officially founded in 1950 during a dispute over taxation between the mayor of Las Vegas City and the (then) existing casino operators on what was already known as the Las Vegas Strip. With the formation of Paradise; a majority of the tourists who flock to Vegas for the gaming and entertainment, possibly never enter Las Vegas City itself.

CityCenter

In 2004, MGM Resorts International, in conjunction with Dubai World, announced plans to redevelop a 76 acres area of the Strip lying within Paradise. In what was reported to be the largest independently financed project in US history, this development has become a mixed-use, urban complex of resorts, spas, casinos, shopping mall, bars, restaurants and some 2,400 Apt For Sale In Citycenter Las Vegas. Some of the residential property is within the hotels and resorts; such as The Residences At The Mandarin Oriental Hotel; but a totally residential twin towered building was also constructed with condominium type Apt For Sale In Citycenter Las Vegas.

CityCenter is now basically complete and is becoming a much sought after area to live in; the twin towers, for example offers Apt For Sale In Citycenter Las Vegas that range from loft type residences and studios through 1 to 3 bedroom flats to penthouses ranging from 500 to nearly 3.300square feet in size. All units have a number of exclusive fittings and designer décor and flooring; there are separate vehicle entrances, valet parking, secure elevators and the towers are monitored for 24-hour security. The towers actually rise out of a 500,000 square feet area of sophisticated shopping, dining and entertainment.
