Don’t you just hate it when the company you are in somehow exclude you from the conversation by starting to talk jargon; they are the “in crowd” fully in the know about the meanings of the words they are using; you are on the outside and totally clueless as to what they are talking about. Socially, I mix with a pretty varied crowd of individuals after work in Washington DC and, normally, we sit around over a few beers; chew the fat and get along just great.

Events of this type are judged to have succeeded or failed on the basis of how many people attended the event. Good publicity is needed to get good attendance.
