Types of Central Park Tours Available
If you want to experience Central Park at its best, it may be best to consider one of many tours available. You’ll get a unique and exciting way to view the famous area, and can take pictures, enjoy yourself, and try something new.
Bikes
Bicycling is an excellent form of exercise, but it’s an awesome way to view Central Park, as well. You can find guided and unguided tours, allowing you to see some of the best attractions of the area, such as Strawberry Fields, Cherry Hill Fountain, and much more. In most cases, the tour is based on two hours, though you can always request a longer one to see more of the sights.
Horse/Carriage
If you’ve never been sitting in a carriage while a horse pulls you around the town, you’ve never experienced the magic and excitement of doing something so unique. Consider something like this for a wedding party, date, girls/boys night out or just because.
Walk
Parks should be walked through and enjoyed so that you can experience everything. You’ll have a guide available, taking you to all the great places, so you won’t get lost and will get to see what you want. While you can walk around the area by yourself for free, you may not get to experience the Bow Bridge, The Pond, or the Boathouse Café.
Pedicabs
If you’re like many people, you want to enjoy yourself but don’t necessarily want to exert yourself, either. Biking and walking can be fun for some, but you may want to sit back and be biked along. Pedicabs allow you to see everything, including Balto, Bethesda Terrace, and the Carousel without having to walk. Likewise, you can find one and two-hour options, allowing you to sit back, relax, and be taken to the sights.
